Dr Zablon Kithinji Njiru BSc, MPhil, PhD

Zablon completed a Bachelor's and a Master (MPhil) in Kenya. He then undertook a PhD and a postdoctoral position at Murdoch University. He has worked as a research scientist from 1997 majoring in molecular biology of trypanosomes. He joined the School of Nursing as a lecturer in 2007. Zablon's main research areas include epidemiology, genetics and diagnosis of trypanosomes.
