Jill commenced with Murdoch University School of Nursing in 2006 as clinical practicum administrative assistant, after working with the School of Electrical, Energy & Processing Engineering for the previous two years. Prior to this Jill was employed for many years in educational institutions, as well as the engineering and health industries in varying roles,including those of registrar, secretary and personal assistant. She and her husband ran their own cartage contracting and earthmoving business for a number of years. Jill liaises with hospitals, medical centres, community health organisations, aged care and mental health facilities throughout Western Australia to arrange clinical practicum placements for the School of Nursing students.
